Momentum continues to build across Ogun West as Prince Boluwatife Adeyanju, a prominent entrepreneur and emerging political figure, has openly declared his support for the Yayi Legacy 2027 Movement, describing it as a well-defined roadmap for sustained progress, unity, and inclusive development in the senatorial district.
The initiative, spearheaded by Hon. (Chief) Akinpelu Nurudeen Aina—widely known as Legacy and Baamofin of Otta-Aworiland—seeks to position him for the Ogun West Senatorial seat in 2027, while reinforcing the achievements and political trajectory of Senator Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), who is widely regarded as a strong contender in the state’s upcoming governorship race.
Prince Adeyanju, a graduate of the University of Brighton, United Kingdom, with a background in Project Management for Construction, expressed firm belief in Aina’s leadership capacity. He praised the former two-term Ogun State House of Assembly lawmaker (2011–2019) as a tested and trusted leader with deep grassroots appeal, noting that his experience and commitment set him apart as a credible candidate for the Senate.
He emphasized that a Yayi-led administration at the state level, complemented by Aina’s representation at the Senate, would create a powerful leadership alignment capable of driving accelerated development, attracting investment opportunities, and enhancing governance across Ogun West.
“This is a movement built on continuity, capacity, and measurable impact. The gains recorded so far must not only be preserved but expanded,” Adeyanju remarked.
Taking his support a step further, Adeyanju has committed to mobilizing grassroots backing across all five local government areas in Ogun West. His strategy includes engaging community leaders, youths, and key stakeholders to deepen awareness of the vision and achievements associated with both Yayi and Aina.
He was also in attendance at the Ota Ward 1 declaration, where Hon. Aina officially unveiled his intention to contest the 2027 senatorial election—an event that underscored Adeyanju’s active involvement in the movement.
With endorsements steadily increasing and grassroots structures taking shape, observers believe the Yayi Legacy 2027 Movement is fast emerging as a formidable political force poised to influence the future leadership and development direction of Ogun West.
