The FAYAB for YAYI Ogun 2027 Movement has reaffirmed its support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adéọlá (popularly known as YAYI) during the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ogun West Senatorial Stakeholders’ Meeting held on Friday, 16 January 2026, in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The meeting, which was well attended by key party leaders and stakeholders, marked the first major APC stakeholders’ engagement in Ogun West in 2026. Discussions at the gathering centered on party unity, governance, strategic political mobilization, and the ongoing nationwide APC membership e-registration exercise.
Senator Adéọlá attended the meeting as the highest singularly elected representative present, a development observers described as further reinforcing his growing influence and leadership role within the APC in Ogun West.
Several prominent APC leaders were in attendance, including the APC Ogun West Senatorial Chairman, Alhaji Ekwueme; Senator Kola Bajomo; the Honourable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Kunle Salako; Senator Iyabo Anisulowo; Chief Olu Agemo; Alhaji (Hon.) Muftau Ajibola; Chief Samuel Aiyedogbon; Chief Mrs. Iyabo Apampa; Hon. Adekunle Akinlade; Chief Hassan Taiwo (Ogogo); Hon. Babatunde Olaotan, among others.
Speaking through its representatives, the FAYAB for YAYI Ogun 2027 Movement reaffirmed its commitment to promoting unity within the APC in Ogun West, strengthening grassroots engagement, and mobilizing support for the party ahead of future electoral contests.
The group described the stakeholders’ meeting as a clear demonstration of cohesion and collective resolve among party leaders in Ogun West, noting that the level of participation reflected a shared determination to support Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adéọlá as the party prepares for the 2027 governorship race in Ogun State.
