It was an evening marked by unity, reflection, and political solidarity on monday 16th as High Chief Olanrewaju Bashorun, popularly known as LarryBash, hosted executive members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area to a special Ramadan Iftar at his residence.
The well-attended gathering brought together key party leaders, including the local government chairman, secretary, women leader, legal adviser, auditor, and other executives, all united in the spirit of Ramadan to break their fast in an atmosphere of faith, fellowship, and shared political vision.
Beyond its spiritual significance, the Iftar provided a strategic platform for party stakeholders to engage, strengthen internal cohesion, and acknowledge LarryBash’s growing influence and contributions to the development of the APC in Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency.
In his remarks, the APC Chairman in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. J.J. Akeran, expressed appreciation to party leaders and paid special tribute to the Olota of Ota, Oba Prof. Abdulkadir Obalanlege, for his continued support toward the growth and stability of the Ota Kingdom.
Hon. Akeran commended LarryBash for his commitment to party development and grassroots mobilization, describing him as a visionary and humble leader with the capacity to deliver effective representation at the federal level.
“LarryBash has demonstrated competence, innovation, and dedication to the growth of our party. His efforts have strengthened our structure and positioned the APC for greater success in Ado-Odo/Ota. He has shown clear readiness for the responsibility of representing our people in the House of Representatives,” he said.
He further emphasized that gatherings such as the Ramadan Iftar play a vital role in fostering unity and strengthening relationships among party stakeholders.
Also speaking, the APC Women Leader in the local government, Hon. Mrs. Waliat Ogunbiyi, praised LarryBash for his generosity and inclusive leadership style. She described the Iftar as timely and impactful, noting that it reflects his commitment to unity and collective progress within the party.
“LarryBash exemplifies servant leadership. His passion for empowerment, sincerity in leadership, and dedication to the welfare of the people make him a strong and credible candidate. We remain committed to supporting his aspiration,” she stated.
In his response, High Chief Olanrewaju Bashorun (LarryBash) expressed heartfelt appreciation to party leaders and members for their presence and unwavering support. He also extended gratitude to the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and other stakeholders for their continued encouragement.
Reaffirming his commitment to public service, LarryBash emphasized that his political journey is rooted in a genuine desire to serve the people and contribute meaningfully to the development of the constituency.
