Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo

The best way to find you is to lose yourself in the service of others.

In a world often clouded by self- interest and greed, rare individuals emerge whose lives emanate hope and compassion, inspiring us all to strive for a brighter tomorrow. Engr, Temitayo Agemo’s philanthropic endeavours have continued to reflect her relentless dedication to societal growth in recent years. Her leadership qualities and exceptional understanding of human needs are a force to reckon with, as she consistently demonstrates a deep commitment to uplifting others. Her initiatives reflect a hostilic approach to empowerment addressing both immediate needs and long term development, and unwavering dedication serves as an inspiration to all who seek to make a positive impact in the world.

Exemplifies this exceptional character, she is not only a philanthropist, social entrepreneur, and tireless advocate for a better society but also a beacon of selflessness and transmotive leadership.

With unwavering dedication, she has devoted her life to uplifting others and profoundly impacting their lives. Her story transcends mere acts of generosity; it is a testament to her relentless pursuit of transforming communities and effecting lasting change. Through her example, she illustrates that true leadership is defined by service to others.

Born into a family that deeply valued education and community service, Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo absorbed these principles and carried them forward with unwavering commitment, making it clear from a young age that she was destined to make a difference. Her journey into philanthropy was not a mere career choice but a calling that grew stronger over the years culminating in the establishment of the Temitayo  Agemo-Okuboyejo Renaissance Projects.

Fondly called Tayo by family, friends and close associates, she is the sixth (6th) of Nine (9) surviving children of Late Alhaji Rasak Titiloye Agemo of Iwaye Compound, Idomo Igbesa and Late Mrs Aolat Bosede Agemo of Baase Compound, Totoro, Abeokuta.

Born in England when her parents were students in the United Kingdom, she returned to Nigeria at age 3 with her parents in 1979. Growing up in Agege, she completed her primary school education at Ibukun-Olu Primary school Papa Ashafa, Dopemu Lagos. She attended Jubril Martins High school at Oniwaya in Agege, where she spent the first year of her junior secondary school education before she was transferred to Queen’s School Ibadan, following her family’s relocation to Ibadan.

At her parent’s insistence, she returned to England for her higher education after completing her secondary school education in Nigeria. In England, she obtained a second-class upper degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering from London South Bank University and a Master’s degree in Petroleum engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh in Scotland.

With a formidable résumé that spans over two decades across multinational corporations and strategic UK government departments, Okuboyejo brings a refreshing blend of private sector precision and public policy intelligence to the political space. Her journey from the oilfields of the North Sea to the corridors of Whitehall, and now to community-building in her ancestral Ado-Odo/Ota homeland, tells the story of a woman driven not just by ambition—but by purpose.

Her dedication to promoting educational growth and capacity development among Nigerian youths shines through her Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo Renaissance Project.

As a fresh voice in Nigeria politics with her unique blend of corporate expertise and inspirational storytelling, she voiced her discontent with the portrayal of women’s political dedication, emphasizing that women were entirely excluded. Her decision is driven by a desire to end decades of “poor representation” that has hindered development in the area which left no doubt that she is not only a force in a boardroom but a beacon of hope..

With voices like Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo that offers a compelling case for a new kind of politics ; one that is grounded in merit, societal reforms, community development and an unshakeable belief as Nigeria looks toward a new crops of leaders that change is not only possible, but long overdue.
