Born into a family that deeply valued education and community service, Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo absorbed these principles and carried them forward with unwavering commitment, making it clear from a young age that she was destined to make a difference. Her journey into philanthropy was not a mere career choice but a calling that grew stronger over the years culminating in the establishment of the Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo Renaissance Projects.
Fondly called Tayo by family, friends and close associates, she is the sixth (6th) of Nine (9) surviving children of Late Alhaji Rasak Titiloye Agemo of Iwaye Compound, Idomo Igbesa and Late Mrs Aolat Bosede Agemo of Baase Compound, Totoro, Abeokuta.
Born in England when her parents were students in the United Kingdom, she returned to Nigeria at age 3 with her parents in 1979. Growing up in Agege, she completed her primary school education at Ibukun-Olu Primary school Papa Ashafa, Dopemu Lagos. She attended Jubril Martins High school at Oniwaya in Agege, where she spent the first year of her junior secondary school education before she was transferred to Queen’s School Ibadan, following her family’s relocation to Ibadan.
At her parent’s insistence, she returned to England for her higher education after completing her secondary school education in Nigeria. In England, she obtained a second-class upper degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering from London South Bank University and a Master’s degree in Petroleum engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh in Scotland.
She began her career in reservoir/petroleum engineering as a Graduate Reservoir engineer with ExxonMobil International in Aberdeen, Scotland in 2005 after her master’s degree.
With a formidable résumé that spans over two decades across multinational corporations and strategic UK government departments, Okuboyejo brings a refreshing blend of private sector precision and public policy intelligence to the political space. Her journey from the oilfields of the North Sea to the corridors of Whitehall, and now to community-building in her ancestral Ado-Odo/Ota homeland, tells the story of a woman driven not just by ambition—but by purpose.
A petroleum engineer by training, she transitioned seamlessly from technical roles in oil and gas with ExxonMobil, Chevron, and Centrica, into policy-making at the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, and later, as Chief of Staff at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation under the UK Ministry of Defence. She is currently a Cyber Risk Consultant at the UK’s National Energy System Operator.
Her contributions to national energy security, information risk governance, and cyber security have earned her a respected place among professionals working to protect the UK’s critical infrastructure. And yet, she remains firmly connected to her roots.
Her philanthropic activities have been centered on empowering school children, students, youth, women and the entire community of Ado-Odo Ota local government area and across Ogun state which have positively impacted their lives. Her foundation also provides crucial support to communities reflecting her broad commitment to social welfare and demonstrating her dedications to making a lasting difference.
As a means to extend her hand of love and put smiles on the faces of the less privileged despite the economic challenges, she reached out to both individuals and families in dire need. She empowered them with food items, cash donations, ensuring they were well-equipped to celebrate the festive season with a joyful heart, this act of kindness not only provided immediate relief but also fostered a sense of community and solidarity, reminding people that they are not done in their struggles.
The Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo Renaissance Project delivered on its commitment to support basic education in Ado-Odo/Ota LGA as part of her commitment to educational development, nurturing talent in nurturing talent.
This was demonstrated through a fulfillment of her pledge to All Saints Primary School, Ado-Odo on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the school. Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo, honored as the mother of the day, generously donated five desktop computers and a set of drums to enhance the information technology skills of the pupils and inspire confidence in them.
In a continued effort to support academic activities within Ado-Odo Ota local government area, the Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo Renaissance Projects donated a set of school drums to Maale Comprehensive High School Igbesa on Wednesday 12th March 2025 as requested by the school management as one of their needs
This philanthropic gesture underscores her dedication to education and encourages pupils to strive to attain academic excellence.
She has also distributed 440 school uniforms to public primary schools across Ado-Odo Ota Local government area. .
She donated a borehole to Local government primary school at Ajerogun Igbesa.
She inspired hope into the younger generation. As part of the 2025’s Children’s Day celebration, Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo Renaissance Projects supported a quiz competition organized for public schools in Igbesa. The event was held on Tuesday May 27th 2025 at *China-Nigeria Friendship Model School*, Igbesa. To mark the occasion, the organization donated school bags and sandals to participating students, reinforcing its commitment to educational development and youth empowerment.
Towards promoting sportsmanship she supported financially the 2025 Oloja Ekun Football competition.
Engr. Temitayo Agemo – Okuboyejo’s House (Green House) won the 51st edition of the Salvation Army Primary School Igbesa inter-house sports competition. The NGO donated a grass-cutting mower machine to the school, which was one of the school most significant requests for support.
On 16th July 2025, Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo donated ₦20,000 each to the three best graduating students of MAALE Comprehensive High School Igbesa (Junior) during the Valedictory Service for the Junior Secondary School student 3.
In a remarkable display of philanthropy, Mrs. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo, has also awarded ₦50,000 each to 34 best-graduating students at the 6th combined convocation ceremony of Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa.
This generous gesture, totaling ₦1.7 million, aims to reward academic excellence and support educational development.
Supported with a team of like and great minds, Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo Renaissance Project is having men of integrity and pacesetters, Hon. Tunde Badmus as the coordinator and Otunba Jaiyela Odunsi championing and reinforcing their commitment towards the sustenance of the project.

In recognition of her dedication to excellence, passion for education, and commitment to empowering younger generation, during the convocation ceremony, Mrs. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo was also honored with the award of Honorary Fellowship of OGITECH, Igbesa, alongside the First Lady and wife of the Governor of Ogun State, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, the Honorable Minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, and Chief Ibrahim Egungboun.
For her outstanding values and remarkable commitment to serving humanity, she was honoured in December 28th, 2021 by the Ogun State Council of the National Youth Council of Nigeria. She was honoured with “Icon of Humanity” Award in recognition of her contributions towards development of humanity in Ogun State.
She was recently honored with the Royal Award of Appreciation by Oba Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, the Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu Kingdom with the Royal Award of Appreciation
Her dedication to promoting educational growth and capacity development among Nigerian youths shines through her Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo Renaissance Project.
As a fresh voice in Nigeria politics with her unique blend of corporate expertise and inspirational storytelling, she voiced her discontent with the portrayal of women’s political dedication, emphasizing that women were entirely excluded. Her decision is driven by a desire to end decades of “poor representation” that has hindered development in the area which left no doubt that she is not only a force in a boardroom but a beacon of hope..

In a quest to represent the interest of her people Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo has declared her intention to represent the people of Ado Odo/Ota Federal Constituency under the platform of (PDP) Peoples Democratic Party in 2027.
Tayo is married to Engr. Olukayode Okuboyejo and they are blessed with two children.
