Otta, 16th December 2025 – Today marked a historic milestone in the financial and economic landscape of Otta as Alpha Morgan Bank officially launched its Otta Branch, signaling the arrival of a new era of financial empowerment, community development, and economic opportunity in the cosmopolitan city. Strategically located along the Lagos–Otta–Abeokuta Expressway, Sango Otta, the branch is set to become more than just a banking institution—it is envisioned as a catalyst for innovation, growth, and inclusive development across the region.

The inauguration ceremony, a gathering of distinguished personalities from all walks of life, was a true reflection of the importance of this occasion. Her Excellency, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, FNSE, Deputy Governor of Ogun State, had the honor of performing the symbolic tape-cutting, officially declaring the branch open and setting the stage for a partnership between the bank and the community that promises lasting impact. The event brought together government officials, traditional rulers, business leaders, and community members, demonstrating the shared excitement and anticipation for what Alpha Morgan Bank’s presence would mean for Otta.

Among the prominent attendees was His Majesty, Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege, Ph.D (Lanlege Ekun II, Arole Iganmode), Olota of the Ancient and Paramount Ottaland, Awori Kingdom, who expressed profound delight at the bank’s arrival. Kabiyesi emphasized that the people of Otta stand ready to support Alpha Morgan Bank in achieving its corporate objectives, assuring the institution of a collaborative and mutually beneficial relationship. “We welcome Alpha Morgan Bank with open arms and pledge our unwavering support for its initiatives in our community,” His Majesty declared. “This is not just the opening of a branch; it is the beginning of a journey that will transform lives and opportunities in Otta.”

The Managing Director, Mr. Ade Buraimo, in his address, expressed deep appreciation for the warm reception and immediate acceptance extended by local stakeholders. He outlined the bank’s vision for the Otta branch, emphasizing job creation, entrepreneurship development, financial literacy, and community-focused initiatives as key pillars of the bank’s operations. Mr. Buraimo highlighted that Alpha Morgan Bank does not see itself merely as a financial institution but as a partner in community growth, committed to fostering socio-economic development that uplifts every segment of the society.

“The opening of our Otta branch is a momentous occasion for Alpha Morgan Bank and the people of this great city,” Mr. Buraimo said. “Our commitment goes beyond providing quality financial services. We are here to empower individuals, support businesses, and collaborate with community leaders to ensure that Otta and its environs thrive economically, socially, and culturally.”

The historic launch attracted a distinguished assembly of traditional and political leaders, including Hon. Wasiu Adewale Lawal, FCA, Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government; Alayeluwa Oba Clement Olusegun Akinyemi, Ajana of Ijana; Aare Ayodele Amos Bankole, Otun Maiyegun of Otta; Baale Jamiu Olatunji Komolafe, Baale of Ipamesan; Chief Raymond Okikiolu Fadayiro, Baamolu of Otta; Chief Mrs. Jackie Aduni Kassim, Yeye Akin of Otta; Asiwaju Gbenga Oso; Prince Rasaki Ayinla Obasanya; and Hon. Adebowale Anjorin (Hero), among others. Their presence underscored the significance of the bank’s arrival and reinforced the message that Alpha Morgan Bank is a partner in the community’s journey toward progress.

The opening of the Otta branch represents a strategic milestone in Alpha Morgan Bank’s expansion plan, reflecting the institution’s commitment to bringing high-quality financial services closer to underserved communities. By positioning itself in Otta, a vibrant hub of commerce, culture, and industry, the bank aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), encourage entrepreneurship, and create sustainable employment opportunities, thereby contributing to regional economic growth.

Alpha Morgan Bank’s community-centered approach extends beyond banking operations. During the ceremony, the bank pledged active participation in the forthcoming Iganmode Cultural Festival (Odun Omo Iganmode), an event that celebrates the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Awori people. By engaging with local cultural activities, Alpha Morgan Bank is demonstrating its commitment not only to financial development but also to cultural preservation, social cohesion, and community pride.

In addition to cultural engagement, Alpha Morgan Bank has unveiled plans for community development initiatives that will directly impact the residents of Otta. These initiatives include financial literacy programs, youth empowerment schemes, scholarships for deserving students, and skill acquisition workshops. Through these programs, the bank seeks to equip individuals with the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to thrive in an evolving economic environment.

The presence of Alpha Morgan Bank in Otta is particularly significant for young entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners. Access to financial services, mentorship, and business support can transform dreams into viable ventures, stimulate local enterprise, and drive sustainable economic growth. The bank’s entry into the community is, therefore, a catalyst for innovation, opportunity, and upward mobility, empowering individuals to achieve their full potential.

The ceremony also featured a courtesy visit by the bank’s management to the Palace of His Majesty, Olota of Ottaland, demonstrating respect for tradition and the deep-rooted values of the community. This gesture signaled the beginning of a partnership built on trust, collaboration, and shared vision, setting a foundation for long-term engagement that benefits both the bank and the people of Otta.

For the people of Otta, the arrival of Alpha Morgan Bank is more than a corporate expansion—it represents hope, progress, and access to opportunities. The bank’s promise to integrate into the social and economic fabric of the community assures residents that their growth and success are central to its mission. From providing flexible financial solutions to supporting community projects, Alpha Morgan Bank is poised to become a trusted partner in prosperity.

The launch event highlighted the importance of collaboration between the private sector, government, traditional institutions, and the community in achieving sustainable development. By fostering these partnerships, Alpha Morgan Bank aims to create an ecosystem in which businesses flourish, individuals succeed, and communities grow stronger together.

As the Otta branch begins operations, residents and business owners alike have expressed excitement over the prospects the bank brings. With cutting-edge financial products, a commitment to service excellence, and a focus on community well-being, Alpha Morgan Bank is positioned to reshape the financial landscape of the region, making banking accessible, empowering, and transformative for all.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Buraimo reiterated the bank’s dedication to building meaningful relationships, driving local economic growth, and making a tangible difference in the lives of residents. “Our vision is clear: to provide world-class banking services while ensuring that our presence strengthens the community, uplifts individuals, and inspires collective progress,” he affirmed.

The inauguration of Alpha Morgan Bank in Otta is more than a business development—it is a story of ambition, collaboration, and shared destiny. It illustrates how a forward-thinking financial institution, guided by purpose and community values, can spark positive change, create opportunities, and leave a lasting impact on society.

As Alpha Morgan Bank continues to expand its footprint, its mission remains steadfast: to deliver innovative financial solutions, champion economic empowerment, and foster inclusive growth across Nigeria. With the full support of the Otta community, traditional institutions, and local leaders, the bank is set to transform the lives of individuals, businesses, and communities, turning possibilities into realities and dreams into achievements.

In conclusion, the arrival of Alpha Morgan Bank in Otta represents a convergence of vision, opportunity, and community spirit. It is a celebration of progress, a commitment to empowerment, and a promise of sustainable development. For the people of Otta, the future has never looked brighter—Alpha Morgan Bank is here, and with it comes the hope, tools, and support needed to achieve lasting success.
