As family members, friends, colleagues, associates and members of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Ogun State, celebrate Comrade Kamal Oluwatoyin Kelani, popularly known as K-SQUARE, on his birthday, attention is drawn to his years of service, grassroots leadership and commitment to the welfare of motorcycle operators.
Comrade Kelani is the Secretary of AMORAN, Ogun State, a position he has held within the association’s leadership structure since at least the inauguration of the state executive in February 2020. His role involves administration, coordination, communication and engagement with members, branch leaders and other stakeholders across the state.
Over the years, K-SQUARE has remained active in AMORAN’s state-level activities and leadership engagements. In 2025, he participated in an extended State Executive Council meeting in Abeokuta where issues including discipline, accountability and the welfare of members were discussed. His responsibilities place him among the leaders working to strengthen the organisation and promote responsible operations.
Beyond administration, Kelani has also used his position to speak on issues affecting workers and commercial motorcycle operators. During the 2024 Workers’ Day celebration, he highlighted the economic difficulties confronting Nigerian workers and drew attention to the challenges faced by motorcycle operators, while stressing the importance of safety and support for riders and passengers.
Safety and responsible operation remain important aspects of his work within AMORAN. The association has continued to encourage members to remain vigilant, avoid security risks and maintain discipline while serving communities across Ogun State.
K-SQUARE’s public profile is strongly rooted in grassroots engagement. His activities have focused on issues that directly affect ordinary workers and motorcycle operators, including welfare, economic hardship, safety, organisation and relations with government and the wider community.
His contributions have also received recognition from AMORAN leadership. Birthday messages issued by the Ogun State association in 2023 and 2024 described him as a valuable asset, a steadfast pillar and a driving force behind the growth of the association and the welfare of its members.
As Comrade Kamal Oluwatoyin Kelani marks another year, his birthday is not only a celebration of life but also an appreciation of his years of service and grassroots leadership. From his role as Secretary of AMORAN Ogun State to his advocacy for workers and motorcycle operators, K-SQUARE continues to build a reputation around service, representation and commitment.
Happy birthday to Comrade Kamal Oluwatoyin Kelani (K-SQUARE), Secretary, AMORAN Ogun State. May the new year bring him greater wisdom, peace, prosperity, fulfilment and many more years of impactful service to his family, association, community and society.
