LarryBash Visits Olota, Reaffirms Commitment to Ado-Odo/Ota Constituency

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election, High Chief Olanrewaju Bashorun, popularly known as LarryBash, has paid a courtesy visit to the Olota of Ota, His Majesty Oba (Prof.) Abdulkabir Adeyemi Obalanlege.
The visit, which took place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the Ipeti Royal Square in the Olota’s Palace, Ota, formed part of LarryBash’s stakeholder engagements ahead of the commencement of the APC’s formal campaign activities in the constituency.
Speaking during the visit, LarryBash said he considered it important to first pay homage to the monarch and seek his continued guidance as he prepares to take his campaign and engagement with the people to a wider level.
The APC candidate expressed appreciation to the Olota for his fatherly counsel, encouragement and support, describing the monarch’s guidance as valuable to his political journey.
He further pledged that, if elected, he would make effective representation and constituency development the priorities of his tenure in the House of Representatives.
LarryBash assured the monarch that he would serve the people of Ado-Odo/Ota with dedication, integrity and accountability, while ensuring that the interests and aspirations of the constituents remain central to his legislative responsibilities.
Responding, Oba Obalanlege congratulated LarryBash on his emergence as the APC candidate and urged him to remain committed to the people and sustain the humanitarian activities that have characterised his public engagements.
The monarch praised LarryBash for his contributions to community development, assistance to vulnerable members of society and support for the traditional institution, stressing that his philanthropic activities predated his political ambition.
Oba Obalanlege described the candidate as an Omoluabi, noting that good character, integrity, responsibility, humility and respect for others should remain essential qualities of anyone seeking public office.
The Olota further disclosed his readiness to host LarryBash and the APC leadership for a more comprehensive engagement when the party formally presents its candidates to traditional rulers, community leaders and other stakeholders across Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency.
The meeting ended with prayers from the monarch for the APC candidate and his team as they continue their consultations and preparations towards the 2027 general elections..
