The APC One Million March in Ota on Wednesday received another major boost as supporters of the Kareem Tolani Oyindamola (KTO) Grassroots Movement joined the massive street mobilisation in support of the party’s 2027 political agenda.
The mobilisation was led by Hon. Kareem Tolani Oyindamola (KTO), a prominent grassroots political figure in Ado-Odo/Ota, whose supporters turned out in significant numbers for the march.
The presence of the KTO Grassroots Movement added to the growing display of grassroots support for the APC as the party continues preparations for the 2027 general elections.
KTO, who has built a political structure with strong community engagement across Ado-Odo/Ota, used the occasion to mobilise his supporters and reaffirm his participation in the wider APC movement.
His political activities have also been closely associated with the campaign structure supporting Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, in the 2027 Ogun State governorship contest. Earlier in 2026, a political outreach involving KTO and YAYI drew more than 1,000 residents, according to Independent Newspapers, highlighting KTO’s emphasis on grassroots engagement.
Wednesday’s march provided another opportunity for the KTO Grassroots Movement to take its mobilisation directly to the streets, with supporters joining other APC groups from different parts of Ota.
The procession, characterised by APC flags, solidarity songs and organised groups of supporters, created a carnival-like atmosphere across parts of the town.
For KTO and his supporters, the exercise was not only a show of party solidarity but also an opportunity to strengthen the grassroots network around the APC’s 2027 campaign.
The mobilisation further demonstrated the increasingly active role being played by different political structures in Ado-Odo/Ota as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
KTO’s participation also reinforces his public association with the YAYI political movement, as grassroots organisations across the constituency continue to organise, mobilise and engage communities ahead of the elections.
Although the event was promoted as the APC One Million March, no independently verified attendance figure was available at the time of reporting. The visible presence of different political structures, including the KTO Grassroots Movement, however, underscored the scale of organisational activity surrounding the event.
As the APC’s 2027 mobilisation continues to expand across Ogun State, KTO’s grassroots movement remains one of the political structures participating in the effort to connect the party’s broader campaign with communities and supporters at the local level.
